All original products used are of high quality and sourced from UK and European Companies. Rachael, the owner’s artistry is simply outstanding, the heart and soul she puts in to every item transformed is second to none and this SHINES through the work she produces.
This wonderful business was originally created after Rachael’s mum was diagnosed with CRPS, formally RSD (a poorly understood condition, that has little awareness in the UK. If you would like to find out more please have a look at the ‘Charities and Sponsorship Page’) and was given an uncomfortable, boring, GREY crutch to use. Her mum has such a bright and colourful personality… all that stick did was dampen her STYLE! Crystal encrusted crutches helped to bring her SPARKLE back and when meeting new people instead of them asking awkward questions and unintentionally offending her, they would have a positive conversation about her walking aid, which in turn boosted her confidence.
Crystals & Crutches have over the years had the pleasure of working with some widely-known people including; injured Rugby League Players, wounded Military Service Personnel/Veterans and 3 of the Alton Towers Crash Victims (Leah Washington, Joe Pugh and Vicky Balch).
Rachael has had her work featured on the front pages of National and Local Newspapers, headlined on National and Local TV, pictured in many well-known magazines and used by models on Catwalks.
Obviously, Rachael’s mum is her biggest fan, however as can be seen from the long list of fantastic reviews, she isn’t the only one! Whilst going through her rehabilitation from the aftermath of the Alton Towers Crash, Vicky Balch took time out and tweeted ‘@crystalcrutches Thank You! Your crutches make me much more confident!’
Crystals & Crutches understand that everyone has their own personal wants and needs, and will always try their utmost to provide this.
